About Dr. Buls

Dr. Buls earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Montana State University and was accepted into the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. He completed family medicine residency training at Altru Family Medicine Residency in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He also completed a one-year fellowship in high risk obstetrics.

He worked as a rural full spectrum family medicine physician. He became an educator for residents. He began practicing with the North Valley Professional Center in Columbia Falls in 2008 and then expanded to patients through the Flathead Community Health Center in Kalispell in 2013.

In 2014 he became affiliated with the University of Montana Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana as its Kalispell site director. As a direct primary care provider, he can take as much time as he needs with his patients. He says he listens to his patients.

He was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana.

The last 13 years has highlighted for me the pitfalls of traditional medicine, in which the focus was on cure not on health and prevention.
