Dr. Jacqueline Fairchild, MD

About Dr. Fairchild

Dr. Fairchild is board certified in internal medicine and addiction medicine. She has a special interest in obesity medicine. She completed her medical training at the University of Cape Town in 1995.

She moved to St. Louis for residency training at Washington University School of Medicine. She has practiced primary care and hospital medicine in the St. Louis region since 2003. She practiced medicine and served as Residency Director at Mercy Clinic for 14 years.

Most recently she was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine, where she cared for patients and taught medical students and residents. She joined Personal Physicians in April 2024 to build more lasting relationships with her patients than an academic setting allows. Dr. Fairchild serves on the Mercy and Veterans Administration Institutional Review Boards.

She is a consultant for the Missouri Institute of Mental Health. She is serving a four-year term as governor of the Missouri chapter of the American College of Physicians.
