About Dr. Shrestha

Dr. Shrestha is an internal medicine physician who joined the TrustCare clinic on Lake Harbour Drive in Ridgeland, Mississippi, on October 13, 2017. He is a native of Nepal and received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Pune University in Pune, India. He completed an internship at Command Hospital in Calcutta, India, a residency at NYU Downtown Hospital's Department of Medicine in New York, and a fellowship in the Department of Geriatric Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Before joining TrustCare, Dr. Shrestha served as medical director for the Emergency Medicine Department and chief of staff at Merit Hospital in Canton. From 2008 to 2010 he was a staff physician with Southern Virginia Medical Center, and for about eight years before that he was a staff physician at Madison County Medical Center and medical director of Madison County Nursing Home. He also held a position with Kathmandu Nursing Home in Nepal and served as senior medical director for the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in Lebanon.
