Dr. Chad Hosemann, MD

About Dr. Hosemann

Dr. Hosemann earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. He earned his medical doctorate at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He spent a year in sports medicine and arthroscopy training at The American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham.

There he trained under the surgeon Dr. James Andrews and treated collegiate and professional athletes. He takes a conservative approach to medicine. He sits down with each patient one-on-one, goes over imaging results and explains personalized treatment options.

He prefers noninvasive or minimally invasive methods when possible and regularly performs arthroscopic surgery. He has a special interest in shoulder, elbow and knee problems and sports injuries. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and golf.
