About Dr. Azelton

Dr. Azelton is double-boarded in family medicine and lifestyle medicine. She completed medical training at Loma Linda University and her family medicine residency at Beacon Health System. She completed a fellowship in health services management at Beacon Health System.

She has a Masters in Public Affairs, with research in digital health coaching using lifestyle medicine prescriptions. She founded Family & Lifestyle Medicine and serves as its medical director and physician. She started the practice in 2021 as a direct primary care microclinic.

Much of her care happened through house calls throughout the Greater Lansing community. Her passion is uniting scientifically sound healthcare, education and spiritual care. She enjoys hiking, canoeing and plant-based cooking and baking.
