About Dr. Thomas
Dr. Thomas graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He started Plum Health DPC in 2016, right out of residency. Plum Health DPC, founded in Corktown, was the first direct primary care practice in Detroit and Wayne County.
Plum Health is now a growing network of multiple clinics across Michigan that partners with large businesses, municipalities and community organizations. Direct primary care at Plum Health is a monthly membership with unlimited access to a doctor, without copays or deductibles and without billing or using insurance. Members can call, text, email or visit their provider anytime for physicals, preventive care, urgent care, chronic disease management and mental healthcare.
Dr. Thomas wrote books on direct primary care and has been a featured speaker at TEDxDetroit.
Membership and fees
Membership at Plum Health is $95 a month for a single member and $180 a month for a member plus a spouse or child, where the child must be under 18.
The family plan is $270 a month for no more than 2 adults, and additional fees may apply to families of 6 or more.
