About Dr. Hull

Dr. Hull founded New England Medicine. Before that, she practiced academic internal medicine and did clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her research looked at primary care, preventive genetics and implementation science, and at ways to bring evidence-based advances into everyday care.

She earned a BA in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and an MD from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She also holds an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her residency was at University Hospitals Case Medical Center.

She completed a fellowship in General Internal Medicine and Primary Care at Harvard Medical School and the VA Boston Healthcare System. Her approach rests on two ideas, curiosity and ownership. She believes good primary care comes from thoughtful questions, rethinking assumptions and staying involved beyond a single appointment.

She takes personal responsibility for patients' care over time.
