Dr. Peinert graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1973 after attending Williams College as an undergraduate. At Williams he was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate and a varsity football player. He completed a general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at Cambridge Hospital.
His fellowships were at Pondville State Hospital and in surgical oncology through the American Cancer Society. He has been practicing since 1974 and spent forty years in private practice on the North Shore before joining Dr. Howard Goldberg's practice. That practice offers both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
He served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Union Hospital in Lynn, Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and Salem Hospital, and is a past president of the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgeons. He was a member of the Lynnfield Board of Health for 26 years, most of them as chairman. Outside work, he enjoys golf, cooking, gardening and travelling.
