About Dr. Patz

Dr. Patz graduated from Tufts Medical School in 1991. He completed the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at Boston University Medical Center in 1996. He completed a one-year Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond.

He started Orthopaedic Specialists of Massachusetts in its current location in 2000. The practice has offices in Norwood and Milton, Massachusetts. He practices orthopaedic surgery in the greater Boston area, with a subspecialty interest in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery.

His clinical interests include all arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. He has been involved in the care of athletes from the high school to the professional level. He was an All-American football player at Tufts.
