About Dr. Schroeder

Dr. Schroeder is an internist in the Boston metro-west area. He began his medical studies at McMaster University in Canada as part of one of its first medical classes. He completed most of his medical training at McGill University.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded him as a Clinical Scholar for the last two years of his training. He taught and did clinical research at Boston University School of Medicine after being offered a position as Assistant Professor of Medicine there. He has practiced clinical medicine in Wellesley since 1990.

In 2013, he started a new concierge practice, Wellesley Personal Care, LLC. The practice accepts a limited number of patients, which gives each more attention for wellness visits, same-day appointments and ongoing concerns. Wellesley Personal Care is available to patients by phone, email or text, and coordinates specialists and visits patients in the hospital as necessary.

He has been active on boards and physician organizations. He aims to provide comprehensive care, and he believes in listening closely to patients to learn what shapes their health.
