Dr. Thomas A. Fry, MD

About Dr. Fry

Dr. Thomas A. Fry provides concierge internal medicine care at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated cum laude from Brandeis University before earning his medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School, and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in 2003. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

After training, Dr. Fry served as senior staff physician at Lahey Clinic for seven years. In 2010 he joined Mass General and Harvard Medical School, where he continues to supervise residents and clinical staff and focuses on adult primary care. He has a particular interest in diabetes care and a special interest in patient safety and communication skills around quality of care and medical errors. He was the director of the transition at Mass General Waltham to a level 3 NCQA certified patient-centered medical home.

Dr. Fry describes his philosophy of care as rooted in service to his patients and community, and he is active in community coaching in baseball, hockey and soccer.
