Dr. Bergina Isbell, MD

About Dr. Isbell

Dr. Isbell is the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Led Life, LLC.

Dr. Isbell earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2005, and completed psychiatry residency training at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota, from 2005 to 2009. She also completed an internship in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and an internship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Before founding Led Life, Dr. Isbell served as a community psychiatrist with the nonprofit Unity Health Care, providing mental health care and individual and group therapy for several Federally Qualified Community Health Centers, several homeless shelters, and people incarcerated at the Department of Corrections in Washington, DC. Dr. Isbell specializes in the care of patients with a history of trauma and special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, and Led Life offers TMS therapy for depression and OCD, Spravato, medication management, psychotherapy, and a virtual, private-pay Concierge Psychiatry program that includes an Intensive Outpatient Program. She authored the book "Victory Over Depression With and Without Medicine" (2017) and "Come to the Table," a special-needs devotional, and has presented at SXSW and co-hosted the Hope Infusion Podcast.
