Dr. Chetanna Okasi, MD

About Dr. Okasi

Dr. Okasi graduated from Harvard University and attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, graduating with Distinction in Research. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Sinai Hospital in Maryland and was awarded the Resident Research Forum Award there. She is the founder and director of Women's Wellness MD.

She provides holistic gynecologic care to women of all ages. She specializes in all forms of female health care, ranging from complete well-woman exams to family planning and contraceptives. Practice services include cosmetic gynecology, weight loss, infertility, pelvic pain, heavy periods, uterine fibroids, and menopause and hormone therapy. Her approach is to take the time to truly listen and make complex issues simple.

She was the founder and director of the Adolescent Health Education and Development Program (AHEAD) for teens. She worked as a Maternal and Child Health Volunteer at Royal Victoria Hospital in Banjul, Gambia, and has taken part in medical mission trips to Africa.
