Dr. John Kim, MD

About Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim is Director of Home Services at Atria Los Angeles. He provides hospital-level care in the homes of families. At Atria he values building ongoing relationships with families and working alongside specialists from many fields.

He studied biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh. After residency he worked as an emergency physician at UPMC Southside and later at Englewood Hospital Medical Center in New Jersey.

He joined Inhouse Physicians in 2008 and eventually became National Program Director. In 2019 he joined Sollis Health, where he served as Medical Director for At-Home Care and as an emergency medicine physician. At Sollis locations in New York and California he trained more than 100 doctors, nurses and other providers.

His emergency medicine work has included the Olympics in London and South Korea and corporate trips across six continents. He is the founder, chief executive officer and chief medical officer of TrekMD, which provides travel medical services.
