About Dr. Pierce
Dr. Pierce is the founder of Megunticook Medicine, a direct primary care practice in Rockport, Maine. He is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy, completed premedical studies at the University of Southern Maine and attended Dartmouth Medical School on an Air Force scholarship. He trained in family medicine at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
In the Air Force he practiced inpatient and outpatient family medicine at Misawa Air Base in Japan and Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. He moved to Camden, Maine in 2002 and joined an independent family medicine and psychiatry practice. He was an owner of Midcoast Medicine for twelve years and a part-time hospitalist for Midcoast Medicine, Penobscot Bay Medicine Center and Midcoast Hospital.
He was selected as president of the Maine Medical Association in 2015 and was one of the founders of the New England Direct Primary Care Alliance. He enjoys kayaking and fly fishing.

Families with 3 or more members get a 5% discount, and there is a pediatric sibling discount of $25 per month per additional child.
New members pay a one-time registration fee of $75, house calls when necessary cost $50 extra, and vaccines other than an annual flu shot are not included in the membership.
