Dr. Neil was among the first physicians in the US to use Thermage®, a unique non-surgical procedure for firming and contouring skin and reducing wrinkles. It can be performed on the eyelids and body as well as the face. Since its introduction in 2002, over 1 million treatments have been performed worldwide. Dr. Neil offers patients the benefits of a specialized Thermage device for treating the body, for faster treatment of loose skin on the arms, abdomen or thighs, as well as improving the appearance of cellulite, usually in one treatment, although with more skin laxity a six-month follow-up treatment may be advised.
In addition to treating cosmetic concerns, Dr. Neil continues to enjoy practicing medicine, with interests in cardiovascular risk reduction, healthy aging, hormone replacement, skin cancer risk reduction, and migraine. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking, tennis, exercise, and her dogs and cats."
"As a family physician for many years, I have emphasized preventive medicine; healthy lifestyle, exercise and nutrition, for helping my patients achieve optimum health. These simple things greatly influence how we feel, as well as how we age.
I have also observed the impact skin and hair disorders can have on a person's emotional well-being, and have become increasingly interested in emerging medical technologies that can treat these conditions and improve the effects of time, sun damage, and hormonal changes.
We have added exciting new light-based treatments for acne, rosacea, and pre-cancerous skin lesions. We can remove embarrassing or unwanted hair safely and permanently. We can relax wrinkles, tighten skin laxity, and fill folds and lines. Many people can now improve their appearance and get rid of flaws that cause discomfort through quick, simple, and non-invasive treatments. As I continuously learn the latest advancements, we will add and improve procedures that help you look and feel your best!"
