About Dr. Watters
Dr. Watters grew up working in health care, and his mother was a Director of Nursing. He started working at a hospital at age 16, became an EMT at 18 and worked in respiratory therapy to put himself through college and medical school. His residency was at a trauma center in Houston, and he chose family medicine training.
He spent almost 20 years as a family doctor in Ark City, Kansas. In the nine years before opening his own clinic, he worked in the emergency room as a physician, director and hospitalist. He decided in 2022 to open Liberty MD to focus on his patients and offer personal healthcare, and he owns and operates it with Wendy Watters.
