About Dr. Neuhofel

Dr. Neuhofel earned a biology degree from Friends University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Kansas. He attended medical school at Kansas City University and received his DO degree. He completed his family medicine residency at KU-Med and served as Chief Resident.

After training, he founded NeuCare in 2011 and is its owner and primary physician. NeuCare, which he founded, calls itself one of the nation's first direct primary care practices. The practice does not contract with any insurance plans and cannot bill them.

He enjoys cooking, traveling and the outdoors.

Membership and fees

Membership at NeuCare includes unlimited nurse and doctor visits during business hours, rapid strep, cholesterol panel, chemistry panel and CBC testing, and an annual flu shot.

A member who rejoins after cancelling pays a $200 re-enrollment fee.

NeuCare also offers a Telemed-Plus acute care membership.
