About Brian Fleeman

Brian Fleeman leads the interventional pain management program at The Summit. He provides individualized nonsurgical plans for chronic and complex pain, and those plans can include physical therapy recommendations or sleep hygiene strategies. Fleeman earned a nursing bachelor's degree from Wichita State University and a Master of Nurse Anesthesia from Newman University.

He completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Texas Wesleyan University in 2021. Before anesthesia school, he worked in the intensive care unit at Wesley Medical Center. He worked in an anesthetist group at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis for about two and a half years, then at Galicia Heart Hospital for nine years.

In 2018 he started his own business, Salt City Anesthesia. His work spans anesthesia care of every kind, from general anesthesia to local options like epidural injections. He has provided care to post-COVID and long COVID patients, using stellate ganglion blocks to help restore taste and smell.

He was named president of the Kansas Association of Nurse Anesthetists in October 2022.

It goes beyond the injection. I want to help the patient in their daily lives and in the long term.
