About Dr. Bleazard

Dr. Bleazard graduated from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kentucky. He completed an orthopedic residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in Kansas City. He finished a foot and ankle fellowship under Gregory Pomeroy, M.D., at New England Foot and Ankle Specialists.

He specializes in foot and ankle surgery. That includes complex reconstruction, such as total ankle replacements, flat foot and cavovarus deformities, and tendon and ligament reconstructions. He still performs general orthopedic procedures, including total knee replacements, carpal tunnel release and trauma care.

Dr. Bleazard is a former collegiate tennis player with a special interest in sports injuries of the foot and ankle. Before joining Kansas City Bone and Joint, he practiced at North Kansas City Hospital and Saint Luke's North Hospital-Barry Road. Away from work, he enjoys tennis, mountain biking, golf, hunting and fishing.
