Dr. Jennifer L. Herrmann, MD

About Dr. Herrmann

Dr. Herrmann is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon. She earned a BA in molecular biology, summa cum laude, from Princeton University and her Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School. She completed a transitional medicine internship at New York Medical College Sound Shore Program in New Rochelle, NY.

She finished a dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed a cutaneous oncology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a procedural dermatology fellowship at the University of California San Francisco. Her focus is dermatology and skin cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.

Her work in education, research and clinical trials has led to a number of publications. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. She plays classical violin and has performed as a soloist on three continents.
