Dr. Cathleen E. Mok, DO

About Dr. Mok

Dr. Mok earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Boston University. She went to Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. She is board certified in osteopathic family medicine.

After residency, she began her career in a traditional family medicine practice. She later moved into occupational medicine, where she built on her procedural skills and shaped her acupuncture practice. She found that the traditional model of healthcare did not fit her view of the physician-patient relationship, which led her to direct primary care.

In 2019, after learning of the model, she founded Envision Health to deliver primary care on her own terms. She continued expanding her knowledge about healthy eating and staying active to promote health and prevent disease. She founded a local chapter of Walk With a Doc and hosts Healthy Cooking Classes for patients and neighbors.
