Caring for patients with advanced chronic illness as a hospitalist drew him toward the primary prevention of chronic disease, which led him to found Chicago Direct Primary Care.
He is also a co-founder of BZ Longevity, a longevity and performance-testing facility in Chicago. Chicago Direct Primary Care offers weight-loss care that uses DEXA scans and resting metabolic rate testing to understand body composition and calorie needs. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, reading, going to the gym and traveling.
