About Dr. Price

Dr. Price is the founder and chief pediatrician of Willow Pediatrics and Lactation. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. During residency she received pediatric integrative medicine training through The University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.

She is an IBCLC lactation consultant and a breastfeeding medicine specialist. Through Willow Lactation she can diagnose and treat lactating adults and breastfeeding children, including complex breastfeeding issues. She can perform a frenotomy in the office to release a tongue tie that is causing pain or problems with nursing.

Initial lactation consultations typically last 2 hours. After hospital discharge, she sees newborns for an initial well child visit between day 2 and 5 of life. The practice takes a personalized and integrative approach, and it welcomes families regardless of infant feeding choice.

She has served on the committee for the CDC funded development of the AAP Action Plan for physician training around breastfeeding.
