Dr. Brown received a bachelor's degree with honors at Georgia Southern University. He earned his medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, finishing first in his class. He completed an ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he was Chief Resident.
He served in the United States Army for 14 years. He has practiced ophthalmology since 1997 and joined Eye Guys in 2004. He is certified in cataract and refractive surgery technology, including LenSx laser cataract surgery and all laser LASIK with the WaveLight Refractive Suite.
