About Dr. Orris
Dr. Orris earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his post-graduate training in emergency medicine at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He is a native of Georgia and has spent his whole healthcare career in metro Atlanta and eastern Georgia.
He served on the board of directors of the Georgia College of Emergency Physicians from 1998 to 2001. He served as Medical Director for the Forsyth County Fire Department, the Forsyth County 911 Service and Atlanta Training Center. He was also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia.
In December 2004 he opened his private practice, Lanier Family Healthcare, LLC. He provides complete family medicine services and comprehensive vein care services, and he treats venous insufficiency through Orris Vein Center. His care focuses on the patient and not the insurance company.
