About Dr. Hathaway
Dr. Hathaway earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, where he was accepted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He completed his pediatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami in 2017.
He spent the first six years of his career in pediatric primary care in south Florida. Before opening his own practice, Healthy Beginnings Pediatric and Functional Medicine, he split his time between a pediatric urgent care and the Cannizzaro Integrative Pediatric Center. He has also done coursework with the Institute for Functional Medicine.
He combines functional medicine with caring primary care for children. Each wellness program is built around the child's history, specialty lab results and the family's goals for their health. He belongs to MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs) and attends its conferences each year.
