Dr. Wilson earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and his medical degree at St. George's University. He completed an internal medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and served as Chief Resident in 2016. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is triple board certified in internal medicine, sports medicine and obesity medicine. He trained in obesity medicine through Columbia and Cornell University and is certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Before founding his practice, he treated medically complex patients at UF Health Flagler Hospital.
Earlier, he was an attending physician at several hospitals in California and Hawaii. Dr. Wilson founded Florida Direct Primary Care, a direct primary care practice in St. Augustine. Membership care at the practice has unlimited primary care visits with no copays, deductibles or insurance billing.
