About Angela Mineo

Angela Mineo is the founder and autonomous nurse practitioner at Cheval Wellness, and she holds DNP and APRN credentials. She is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AANP). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2016 and a DNP in 2025.

Her nursing career included eight years in intensive care, two of them at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, where she cared for critically ill patients. Before moving to the direct primary care model, she managed complex medical conditions in traditional healthcare systems. She is Advanced BHRT Certified and trained in bioidentical hormone therapy through Worldlink Medical.

She helps women see how weight resistance, perimenopause, insulin resistance, thyroid function and PCOS connect. She works to help women feel like themselves again. She also leads the local Women Who Lead chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA).
