About Dr. Morrissey

His residency in internal medicine was at Orlando Regional Medical Center with Orlando Health. He is an owner and founder of Highlands Direct Primary Care. He started the practice to stress lifestyle changes as patients age, bring back price transparency and affordability, and widen access to primary care.

His interest in cancer research shaped his goal of preventing chronic diseases, including cancer, rather than waiting for them to appear. He cares about improving quality of life through preventive medicine, and he is a sports and fitness enthusiast. Outside the clinic, he enjoys traveling, exercising and cheering on the Florida Gators.
