Dr. Molly E. Ryan, DO

About Dr. Ryan

Ryan is a board-certified general psychiatrist. She graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Art History. She completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished a Master of Public Health during those years.

She completed her psychiatry residency at University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital and was Chief Resident in her fourth year. Her work covers personality disorders, forensic psychiatry, crisis intervention, eating disorders, addiction, psychosis, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders and depression. She also has previous experience working with inmates at Treasure Coast Forensic Treatment Center.

She founded the South Florida Women in Psychiatry group. She served on the APA Assembly as a Member in Training Representative. She is a current member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Florida Psychiatric Association.

She has published academic articles in peer reviewed journals and given presentations at academic conferences. She also taught a 16-week elective class to grade school children.
