About Dr. Eisermann

Dr. Eisermann is the founder and Director of Medicine of IVFMD and sees patients in Miami. He received his medical degree from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a two-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Washington University in St. Louis.

He entered private practice in Miami in 1988 and founded the first private practice IVF program in Dade County in 1990. In the early 1990s he pioneered successful Hysteroscopic GIFT and laparoscopic minimally invasive tubal reversals. His areas of specialty include infertility, tubal reversal, minimally invasive surgery, IVF and fertility preservation.

Dr. Eisermann has served on the board of the Miami OBGYN Society for many years and lectures in the U.S. and abroad on assisted reproductive technologies and advanced pelvic reconstructive surgery. He is an ambassador for the charity Dolphin Aid and enjoys tutoring medical students. He loves traveling, playing piano and long distance running.
