About Dr. Shaykh
Dr. Shaykh earned a B.S. and then his M.D. at the American University of Beirut, finishing in 1977. He was chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in 1980 and 1981. He completed a fellowship in high risk gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse in 1981 and 1982, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Miami.
In 1985 he founded the Assisted Fertility Program, the first IVF practice in North Florida. His areas of focus include reproductive endocrinology, infertility and tubal reversal surgery. He has also authored several publications on biochemical elucidation and characterization that other publications have cited.
