About Dr. Miranda
Dr. Miranda graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and was selected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society while in medical school. She was selected as Intern of the Year during residency and served as Chief Medical Resident at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
She completed a two-year comprehensive functional medicine program at the University of Miami. She is the founder and medical director of PURE Executive Health & Wellness. She is trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems and to handle both common minor ailments and severe chronic illnesses, with a focus on disease prevention and total body wellness.
She believes in the important connection between food, gut health, stress and the immune system. She was an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Miami and has taught Advanced Nurse Practitioner students from Nova Southeastern University. She has served as a member of the United Way Women's Leadership Council.
She enjoys interval training and pilates.
