About Dr. Cruz

Dr. Cruz is an MDVIP-affiliated internal medicine physician in Maitland, Florida. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from Eastern Central University (Universidad Central del Este) in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. He completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Seton Hall University in Newark, New Jersey, from 1992 to 1995, and completed a postgraduate intensive internal medicine review at Harvard Medical School in 2000. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He holds hospital affiliation with AdventHealth Orlando and practiced with the Doctors of Clinical Specialties Hospitalists Group from 2017 to 2020. He served as Medical Director of Greater Orlando Medical Weight Loss from 2011 to 2019. He sees patients in both English and Spanish.
