About Dr. Sharma

Dr. Sharma earned his medical degree at New York Medical College and a bachelor of science in biological sciences with honors at Indiana University. He completed a surgical internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and an internal medicine residency at Hofstra School of Medicine - Northwell Health, where he later served as chief resident. He went on to cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at the same program.

He holds ABIM board certification. Thrive is a membership-based concierge program that gives members on-demand access to physician-led care. Dr. Sharma founded Thrive and spent years helping critically ill cardiac patients return to health.

His care puts improving overall health ahead of defaulting to medications. He takes time with each patient and does not rush visits into 10-minute appointments. He curates Designs for Health products matched to each patient's specific needs.
