Dr. Jones earned a B.S. with honors from Wright State University, attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at BayFront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He moved to Naples to open his practice in 1990. He was a founder of Anchor Health Centers in 1997 and served as its president from 1997 through 2002.
He served as chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Naples Community Hospital from 2014 to 2018 and as President of the Medical Staff at NCH starting in 2014. He helped build an asthma clinic, a school, a water project and a playground in Jamaica as the Rotarian in charge of International Service for the North Naples Rotary Club.
