About Nakisha Kinlaw-Williams

Kinlaw-Williams received her nursing degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, along with her adult and geriatric nurse practitioner credentials. She was a member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society there.

As a student, she took part in medical mission trips to Guatemala. She was a graduate professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University School of Nursing in Palm Beach, Florida, and has served as Degree Track Chair there. She founded Gift Me Health International.

She takes a whole-health approach to lifestyle medicine, with attention to nutrition, fitness, stress management, social support and avoiding risky behavior. Her philosophy is that patients are what they eat in body, mind and spirit. She helps patients grow through education and care tailored to each person.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, singing and watching anime.
