About Dr. Ergin

Dr. Ergin is the founder and medical director of Diabetes & Hormone Center Treasure Coast. He opened the practice to look at a patient's full metabolic picture, not one lab value at a time. He is board certified in endocrinology and in internal medicine.

He earned his medical degree with honors from Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He then trained in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism through a fellowship, also at the Cleveland Clinic.

In the office, he performs neck ultrasound, fine-needle aspiration and radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules, and reads them himself. He combines standard endocrine care with nutrition, metabolic and hormone-optimization strategies.
