About Dr. Niv

Dr. Niv founded Dr. Dorene Dermatology to offer each patient a more caring, convenient and personal experience. She practices as a board-certified dermatologist. She specializes in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, laser therapy and skin surgery for adults and children.

One of her primary passions is cosmetic dermatology, specializing in nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and advanced injection techniques. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her medical degree at the University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was awarded Scholarly Excellence in Clinical Studies and Research.

She completed her dermatology residency training at St. Joseph Mercy in Ann Arbor. During residency she performed medical dermatology research on autoimmune skin disease and published peer-reviewed journal articles on complex auto-inflammatory syndromes. She has presented at numerous dermatology meetings and symposiums.

The practice offers concierge dermatology house call services, and Dr. Niv can provide skin care consultations and treatments in the patient's home.
