About Dr. Leavitt

Dr. Leavitt is a dermatologist and a hair restoration and hair loss specialist. He graduated from the University of Michigan and from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and he did his residency at Ohio University Grandview Medical Center. He founded Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 1989 and is its Executive Chairman.

He also founded Medical Hair Restoration, which he grew into a national surgical hair transplantation practice. In 2015 he founded the Orlando Dermatology Residency Program and served as its Program Director. He is one of the founders of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and served as its first Vice President.

He has also served as President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
