About Dr. DeoNarine

Dr. DeoNarine graduated summa cum laude from St John's University in 1987 with a BS in Biology. He graduated from Mount Sinai Medical School in New York City in 1991. He completed an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, finishing in 1994.

He completed a cardiology fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, Long Island, NY. He maintains board certification in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He was one of the first cardiologists in the United States to obtain certification in Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. DeoNarine has been on staff at Indian River Cleveland Clinic, formerly Indian River Memorial Hospital. He has practiced as an independent cardiologist in Vero Beach since 1999 and founded Vero Cardiology. Beginning January 1, 2024, he planned to add concierge cardiology care to his practice.

His goal as a concierge cardiologist is to focus on cardiovascular wellness. He believes preventing disease is more beneficial than treating it once it takes hold. Dr. DeoNarine has volunteered with the American Heart Association, advocating especially for women's heart health.
