About Dr. Petruzziello
Dr. Petruzziello completed undergraduate and medical studies at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, and graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1990. He did an internship at University of Massachusetts Medical School and a residency at Berkshire Medical Center and University of Rome. In 1995 he completed a fellowship in General Surgery research at Tufts University in Boston.
During his general surgery residency he served as a Medical Officer in the Mounted State Police in Italy and reached the rank of First Lieutenant. After moving to the United States in 1995, he co-founded Family Practice and Internal Medicine of Spring Glen. He also established CareMEDICA, LaserMEDICA and WeightMEDICA in Connecticut.
He created CareMEDICA Elite, a concierge medicine program for the Connecticut and Southern Florida regions. He is board certified in internal medicine and was appointed Associate Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He has written over 30 articles in various medical fields and speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Membership and fees
Care at CareMedica Elite is membership-based and covers everyday primary care, preventive care, urgent needs and long-term wellness support.
Members meet with a private physician as often as needed and get their own medical liaison who coordinates appointments, prescriptions and referrals.
