Dr. Amber Wobbekind, MD

About Dr. Wobbekind

Dr. Wobbekind practices DPC Internal Medicine at The Golden Stethoscope in Golden, Colorado. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychobiology from UCLA, a medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and a master's degree in public health and tropical medicine from Johns Hopkins University, and completed her residency at George Washington University. She is board-certified in internal medicine.

In 2014 the University of Colorado School of Medicine gave her its Golden Stethoscope Award, nominated by one of her own medical students for exceptional teaching. She founded The Golden Stethoscope, a direct primary care practice, in Golden, Colorado. She said, "When I opened this clinic, I really wanted to provide outstanding primary care and enhance the patients' healthcare experience. More than that I have found out just how much patients and I love being able to really talk about the things that matter most to them."

Her practice focuses on women's health, hormone care, prevention, and chronic disease management, with telehealth visits included in its concierge membership. She serves patients in the western Denver metro area, including Arvada, Lakewood, Littleton, and Evergreen.
