After college he received a Teaching Fellowship in the Chemistry/Biochemistry PhD program at Boston University and left with a Master of Science degree in chemistry. He was then accepted into the PhD program at UC Santa Barbara with a teaching fellowship. The practice does minor procedures and laceration repair and gives immunizations in the office.
