Dr. Lisa Davidson, MD

About Dr. Davidson

Dr. Davidson is the founder of Insight Primary Care, a direct primary care practice in Denver. She opened it in 2012 after running a traditional practice for eight years. She is a board-certified family medicine physician.

She earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency at Rose Hospital. She is a Principal Investigator at Tekton Research and oversees clinical trials.

She was the Family Medicine Department Chair at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She is a former board member of the Denver Medical Society and a founding member of the Direct Primary Care Alliance. She has mentored physicians nationally.

Weight management, mental wellness, clinical trials and preventive medicine are among her professional interests. She was a guest on episode 99 of the My DPC Story podcast.
