About Dr. Nern
Dr. Nern earned a BS in finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from San Diego State University. She received her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine, completed a transitional medicine internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital, and finished a dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Nern performs Mohs micrographic surgery and treats benign and malignant skin growths. She also performs many cosmetic procedures, including chemical peels and CO2 laser treatments. In December 2015, she transitioned her personal practice to surgery and cosmetic procedures only.
She founded and grew a five-location dermatology practice that is now Epiphany Dermatology. She serves as a preceptor for medical students and sits on the board of The Colorado Melanoma Foundation. She initiated The Sun Bus, a free sun safety education and skin cancer screening vehicle serving underserved populations of Colorado.
Her interests include skiing, horseback riding, boating and hiking.
