Dr. Shiela Boyle, MD

About Dr. Boyle

Dr. Boyle earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania in 1989, graduating Cum Laude with a major in biology and a minor in history. She earned her medical degree in 1993 from Hahnemann University, now known as Drexel University College of Medicine, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduating with honors across psychiatry, psychopathology, dermatology, and dermatology basic science research. She was awarded a Health Professional Scholarship offered by the U.S. Navy.

She served on Active Duty in the U.S. Navy from 1993 to 1997, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander before an honorable discharge, and completed a tour as a Navy flight surgeon based in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed an internship at the National Naval Medical Center. She completed Dermatology residency training through the Department of the Navy and at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital. During her final year of dermatology residency, she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident.

Dr. Boyle is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and in Obesity Medicine. She is licensed to practice medicine in both Colorado and Pennsylvania.
