About Dr. Pepper

Dr. Pepper is a family medicine physician and a co-founding physician of Marin Family Medicine. He studied Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley and earned his MD from UCSF School of Medicine through the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program. His master's thesis in that program mapped the relationship between air quality and asthma.

He completed his residency at UCSF, at San Francisco General Hospital. After residency, he worked as a hospitalist in the East Bay. He then worked in full-time primary care at Panoramic Medicine in Mill Valley, where he managed a panel of 2,500 patients and served as Medical Director.

Dr. Pepper provides comprehensive primary care, with particular interests in preventive medicine and office-based procedures. He is drawn to areas of medicine without clear-cut answers, such as reproductive health, addiction medicine and palliative care. He enjoys gardening, cooking and hiking Mt. Tam and the High Sierra.
