About Dr. Nieto
Dr. Nieto is a board-certified family medicine physician at Bountiful Health. She graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed the UCLA-affiliated Family Medicine Residency at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. She later taught doctors in training there as an attending physician.
She also worked in residency education, clinical precepting and mentoring other physicians. Dr. Nieto added training in functional medicine and completed all advanced practice modules offered by the Institute for Functional Medicine for root cause medicine. Her approach to wellness starts with listening to each patient's story. Before medical school, she worked as a microbiologist at UCI Medical Center. She is a native of Orange County and began volunteering as an emotional support buddy at the AIDS Services Center of Orange County.
Away from work, she plays guitar, gardens organically, reads and spends time outdoors.
